Introducing Ghenos Games - Evergreen - Italian Edition, a strategic game that allows you to develop a lush ecosystem on your own planet. In this game, your objective is to plant sprouts, grow trees, and place other natural elements to make your planet the greenest and most fertile of all. Each player has a board with their planet divided into zones (biomes) where they must plant sprouts and grow them into trees, starting small and eventually growing big.
Evergreen is played over four seasons, each with a decreasing number of rounds. Each round begins with a draft phase, where players choose a biome card that indicates the zone where they will perform the planting and/or growing action in the next phase. Additionally, the card shows a power that can be applied anywhere on the planet, providing additional growth opportunities or other improvements.
The biome cards that are not chosen by the players are moved to the fertility zone and are equally important. They determine the fertility of each biome for the final scoring, guiding the players' choices on where it is most advantageous to grow the largest trees.
At the end of each season, points are scored based on the sunlight received by the trees and the size of the largest forest (adjacent trees) on each player's planet. The player with the highest score at the end of the game emerges as the winner.
The game includes 4 planet boards, 36 cylindrical markers, 200 wooden tokens, 1 first player marker, 4 sunlight markers, 42 biome cards (63x88mm), and is designed by Hjalmar Hach with graphics by Wenyi Geng. The card size is 63x88mm.
