ASMODEE - Il Trono di Spade LCG 2nd Ed. - Fantasmi di Harrenhal - Italian Edition
"I fantasmi di of Harrenhal" is the fifth expansion set of the War of the Five Kings cycle for the second edition of the Living Card Game of The Iron Throne. This set contains 20 new cards in 3 copies to further expand your deck and thus expand your tactical choices.
The card game of The Iron Throne is an LCG (Living Card Game) that will draw you into the events of the Houses of Westeros, asking you to take the reins of one of them and make it triumph in the Game of Thrones. Part of the game involves planning a deck that each player assembles at his or her leisure before the game begins. The deck will contain all the tactical elements that will be used during your confrontations, including characters, locations, items, troops and events inspired by George R. R. Martin's hugely popular Ice and Fire Chronicles saga.
The "I Fantasmi di Herrenhal" is the fifth pack chapter in the War of the Five Kings cycle for The Iron Throne: The Card Game.
The War of the Five Kings drastically altered the nature of the Seven Kingdoms. Although Joffrey Baratheon still sits on the throne of King's Landing, Stannis Baratheon is advancing inexorably from land and sea. Renly Baratheon has been assassinated and the Highgarden forces are momentarily left without a leader. In the Riverlands, the sinister and cursed stronghold of Harrenhal has come under the control of House Stark and House Lannister several times. Many have already died within its walls, and more will die before the war ends.
Now you can include your name in the contention for control of that vast castle, too, thanks to Ghosts of Harrenhal. The War of the Five Kings upsets every corner of Westeros: in this expansion you will find new cards that interact with the King Trait and other cards that will help you counter the drastic carnage of Valar Morghulis. Finally, you will meet numerous famous characters in this pack chapter, including Roose Bolton, Brienne of Tarth, Craster, Ser Davos Seaworth, Joffrey Baratheon, and Myrcella Baratheon.
Although Harrenhal has a bleak reputation in Westeros, few men are better suited to control it than Roose Bolton. The Lord of House Bolton is a shrewd and unnerving man, and although he swore allegiance to Robb Stark in The Clash of Kings, the support of House Bolton has already proven to be a dangerous blessing.
In The Iron Throne: The Card Game, Roose Bolton stands out as one of the game's deadliest characters. His ability reads, "Reaction: After you win a challenge in which Roose Bolton is attacking, choose characters controlled by the defeated opponent for a maximum total of X FOR, where X is Roose Bolton's FOR. Sacrifice Roose Bolton to kill each of those characters."
Killing your opponent's characters is an important ability no matter who has it, but in Roose Bolton it is his versatility that makes the difference. You can sacrifice it to kill a single larger character, such as Melisandre, or you can use it to wipe out characters with your opponent's limited FOR, making larger characters vulnerable to military vindication. And of course, the more you can boost Roose Bolton's FOR, the more dangerous you make him. House Stark has many ways to increase Roose's FOR, including Winterfell Castle, For the North! and Winterfell. You could even use Needle to increase Roose's FOR and put him back in your hand after sacrificing him!
Although Roose Bolton is known to have blood on his hands, even his killing potential is no match for the stronghold he currently reigns over. Some say Harrenhal has seen more horrors in its three hundred years of existence than Granite Casterly Rock has seen in three thousand, and with the Stark version of Harrenhal you will discover that there is truth in these legends.
Harrenhal is an unfaithful Stark location that has a game cost of four gold coins, making it one of the most expensive locations in the game. However, its effect is dangerous enough to justify its cost. After any character comes into play, you can kneel your faction card and immediately kill that character!
In many cases, the simple threat of activating Harrenhal will achieve better results than its actual effect. Similarly to Ghaston Grey, your opponent will have to choose whether to try to circumvent Harrenal's effect by keeping his best characters in hand, or to throw one of his most powerful characters into that cursed fortress, allowing you to kill him immediately. Regardless of his choice, you can be sure that there is no right solution to the horrors of a place like Harrenhal.
The War of the Five Kings rages on, and nothing is more uncertain than life itself. Death comes swiftly and without warning for all, from the greatest of kings to the lowest of beggars. Choose your faction, crown your king and fight for the Iron Throne with the new pack chapter of The Iron Throne: The Card Game!
